Our story
Three worlds, one company.
Communittii was founded to bridge the gap between technology and social impact. Our founder, Arvind Eshwarlal, has spent his career navigating between three worlds, entrepreneurship, India's social sector, and technology companies. Communittii is where they meet.
He has been building companies and products for fifteen years. He has spent over a decade inside India's social sector- education, girl-child education, STEM, livelihoods, and safe drinking water, including launching a social-for-profit bottled water brand from zero to store shelves across Hyderabad, and leading the digitization of operations at one of India's largest safe drinking water social enterprises. And he has worked inside technology companies, running Akamai's North America and Canada business for emerging customers, setting up a business vertical ground-up at LinkedIn South Asia, and leading Gloat's go-to-market in India.
Across all of it, he kept seeing the same thing: brilliant programs running on weak tools, and tech projects that arrive with a demo and leave with nobody using them.
That's why Communittii exists: simple, affordable, impactful technology for the development sector, starting with a plan, not a pitch. And we build our own products too, "athletesbnb" and "rlxed", so we know the discipline of shipping software, and the reality of running an organization on it.
